The Iran-Israel war continues on the fifth day. As of Tuesday morning, at least 24 Israelis have been killed in the Iranian attack, while at least 224 Iranians have been killed in the Israeli attack.

The international media CNN has mentioned that Ali Shadmani, the appointed chief of staff for wartime, was killed in an Israeli attack on the fifth day. He was appointed only on Friday. But Iran has not confirmed this claim of Israel.

On the fourth day after the start of the war, Israel said on Monday that it had attacked the command center of Iran's main spy agency Quds Force . The Quds Force is one of the most powerful and secret forces of Iran's military. The Quds has long played a central role in Tehran's covert operations in the Middle East. For years the Quds has been used to arm and train militias to counter Israel and help Tehran expand its influence in the Middle East . Quds reports directly to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran has not made any official response to the attack and damage to the Quds headquarters in Tehran. The Israeli military on Monday claimed to have killed four senior Iranian intelligence officers, including the intelligence chief of Iran's Revolutionary Guards. Those claims could not be independently confirmed and there was no immediate comment from Iranian officials.

Israeli officials said the retaliation came after Iranian missiles struck several Israeli cities early Monday morning, killing eight people. As civilian deaths on both sides increase, the possibility of the war lasting longer has increased. Israel is intensifying its efforts to destroy Iran's nuclear and military capabilities, while Iran continues to retaliate with ballistic missiles.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied Iran's claim that Israelis are targeting their citizens. Responding to reporters during a visit to an air force base on Monday, he claimed that only the center of the Iranian regime was targeted. According to him, the Israeli army has told the citizens of Tehran to evacuate the city. He did not say whether he asked to evacuate the entire city or just the residents around the target center.

US President Donald Trump, writing on the social network Truth Social, has also urged Iranian citizens to evacuate Tehran. At the G-7 conference in Canada, the world's top leaders have called to reduce the most serious conflict between regional enemies.

Iran's government is calling on UN member states to oppose Israel's attack. Ismail Baghai, the spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said that Iran will continue its defense while making this call.

As the war is certain to take a fierce form, Iranians have begun to leave the capital Tehran in large numbers. "Everything is uncertain," said Meisam, a 41-year-old poet and writer who joined the crowds fleeing Tehran. It is said that at least 45 Iranian women and children died and 75 were injured due to Israel's attack on Monday alone.

According to news agency AP, people have not been able to reach the border area after Iran's airspace was closed and taxis were not available. On the other hand, Israel has told its citizens that they can leave the country through Jordan and Egypt. But these countries are considered potentially dangerous for Jews.  Iran-Israel War: No Stopping Arrangements

The Israeli army has claimed to have targeted more than 100 military addresses in Iran. On Monday, Israel attacked mainly missile launchers . Iranian missiles hit at least three residential areas in Israel on Monday morning. As a result of the attack, five people died in central Israel and three people died in northern Israel.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke on the phone with Iranian President Masoud Pezhekian and said he is ready to help end the current war and return to nuclear talks as soon as possible. According to a statement issued by Erdogan's office, this is the second time that the leaders of the two neighboring countries have had a conversation since Israel launched an attack on Iran.

At least six of Iran's top military generals, a senior politician and five nuclear scientists have been killed in Israel's attack. According to Iranian officials, military commanders were killed in a targeted attack on their residential compound. According to Iranian media, the dead are Major General Mohammad Bagheris, the head of Iran's armed forces, General Hossein Salami, commander in chief of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, and General Gholamli Rashid, deputy commander of Iran's armed forces.

Similarly, according to reports, Ali Samkhani, an influential Iranian politician who is leading nuclear talks with the United States, was also killed in last Friday's attack . Two prominent nuclear scientists, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranji and Fereydoun Abbasi, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the home. In addition, Tasnim news agency said that Mohammad Kazemi, who heads the intelligence organization of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, and Hassan Mohakiq, deputy head, were killed in Sunday's attack.

Last year, tensions between Israel and Iran lasted only a few hours. Both of them stopped the attacks on each other within a few hours by adopting measures to reduce tension . But the new war started by Israel last Friday does not seem to end soon. Both countries have said that they will continue the war as long as necessary. They have intensified their attacks on each other by widening the scope of their attacks . Both Israel and Iran continue to ignore ways to resolve the conflict.

Israel has said it will continue to attack Iran until its nuclear development program is completely destroyed . Similarly, Iran has not put forward any plans to immediately stop its nuclear program.
