A helicopter crashed at Gaurikunda near Kedarnath at around 5:30 am on Sunday morning.

Five people including the driver died in the accident. One of the dead is a minor. 

There were seven people on the helicopter . A helicopter was flown to take the devotees from Kedarnath temple to Gaurikund. According to the initial information, the Indian media reported that the accident occurred due to bad weather.

Pilgrims from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat were riding in the helicopter of Aryan Aviation Company.
