On Monday morning, the Israeli army seized a boat carrying relief supplies, including medicine, baby milk, and food, which was heading to Gaza. The boat was carrying 12 volunteers, including Greta Thunberg, a young activist raising her voice against climate change.

The activists, including Thunberg, set off on a boat trip from Europe to deliver relief supplies in protest at humanitarian aid being halted due to the inhumane Israeli attack on Gaza. Organized by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, this campaign was a symbolic step to highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Despite the Israeli blockade, efforts were made to deliver aid to Gaza, albeit little. After being taken over by Israeli forces, the coalition said they had been kidnapped.

On Tuesday, Israel 'deported' Thunberg and other volunteers from Israel. According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Greta Thunberg was 'deported' from Tel Aviv, Israel to Sweden on Tuesday morning after agreeing to be 'deported'.

3 people including Greta agreed to be 'deported' but 8 of the volunteers refused to sign the 'deportation' order. The BBC reports that they will be brought before an Israeli court. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a picture of Greta Thunberg sitting on the plane on Tuesday morning and said, "Thunberg has been 'deported' to Sweden via France."

Similarly, the ministry has posted on social network X, "Those who leave Israel and refuse to sign deportation documents will be brought to court according to Israeli law." Only then will they be allowed to 'deport'.

This campaign of the 'Freedom Flotilla Coalition' has been interpreted by Israel as a 'selfie yacht', i.e. a 'stunt' for its propaganda. The Israeli Foreign Ministry said that the aid items on board (rice, infant formula, etc.) were less than a truckload of supplies. The ministry said these materials would be sent to Gaza through "genuine channels".

US President Donald Trump reacted to this incident and made fun of Greta Thunberg. "I think Israel has enough reasons to kidnap Greta Thunberg. "He is a young, angry person," he said, "I think he should take an anger management class."

Who is Greta?

Thunberg, a 22-year-old climate activist, has been raising her voice on climate change issues for a long time. Greta, who was born in the capital of Sweden, first started the 'Fridays for Future' campaign in 2018.

As part of that, she performed alone in front of the Swedish Parliament building. A campaign to be launched with hand-written placards - 'School Strike for the Climate' means school strike for the climate. Every Friday she skipped school and stood in front of the Swedish Parliament with a placard for 251 weeks.

Through this strike, she wanted to put pressure on the Shakti nation to reduce the effects and effects of climate change. Needless to say, the then 15-year-old Greta's performance caught the attention of many around the world. She inspired young people around the world to raise their voices against climate change. And millions of young people around the world joined the 'Fridays for Future' campaign that he started. Within three months, his strike united more than 17 thousand students from 24 European countries.

Greta, who became famous for her school strike, made her famous for her speech targeting leaders at the 2019 UN Climate Conference. She questioned the leaders of the world saying 'How dare you'. She became popular because of the school strike and criticized her saying 'You have stolen our future which is not acceptable to us'. She gave a logical and poignant speech about the problems caused by climate change and the problems faced by millions of children like her in the future.

Interestingly, she took 14 days to attend this conference and reached America. She traveled from Britain to New York in America by boarding a carbon-free ship.

After which she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in March 2019. She also became Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' in 2019. Swedish environmental activist Greta became the 'Person of the Year' 6 years ago today, beating US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and others.

Born in January 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden, Greta's full name is Greta Tintin Elibonora Eman Thunberg. His father is an actor and his mother is an opera singer.

The childhood of Thunberg, who challenged the leaders of the world, was very challenging. She became a victim of depression around the age of 12. She was suddenly quiet enough to keep talking. He was later diagnosed with Asperger's, a developmental brain disorder. Asperger's is a form of autism.

Sweden's famous singer, her sister Beta Sweden is also suffering from the same disease.

But Greta has always seen autism as her 'super power' rather than a disease. She says, 'Being different is a blessing. If I was like everyone else, wouldn't I have started this movement?'

Greta has been raising her voice on her social media platform against the ongoing war in Gaza and Israeli attacks on Palestinians. She has been vocal in drawing the international community's attention to the human rights and humanitarian crisis of the Palestinians.

Greta has accused the Israeli government of 'genocide'. She strongly opposed the military and political support given to Israel by Western countries.

She has also linked the 'Fridays for Future' movement to the support of Palestine. She said, 'Climate justice and human rights are linked to each other because war also has a devastating effect on the environment. Greta has called on young people around the world to raise their voices for Palestinian justice.
