Another YouTuber has been arrested in India on suspicion of involvement in Pakistani spy networks and terrorist groups. Indian media reported that YouTuber Jasbir Singh, a resident of Mahlan village in Punjab, was arrested by the police on Tuesday.

About three weeks ago, YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra from Haryana was also arrested on charges of being involved in espionage activities for Pakistani intelligence agencies. She is currently in custody .

Singh, who is running a YouTube channel named 'Jaan Mahal', was arrested by Punjab's special operation cell from his house in Mohli, Indian Express wrote, quoting police officers. It is alleged that he is in contact with Pakistani citizen Ehsan ur Rahim known as Danish and Jutt Randhwas known as Shakir of Pakistani terrorist Jasi network . Danish was also an official of the High Commission on behalf of Pakistan in New Delhi.

Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav posted on X (earlier Twitter) on Wednesday and said that an important espionage network connected to Singh has been discovered, Hindustan Times has mentioned. According to the police, Singh participated in the Pakistan National Day in New Delhi and was met by Pakistani military officers and vloggers at the invitation of Denmark. He went to Pakistan in 2020, 2021 and 2024. Police said that many Pakistani numbers were found in his electronic devices. Forensic tests are being conducted for detailed investigation.
