According to the international media, Ukraine has destroyed 41 Russian military aircraft in four airfields in the Arctic and Siberia. Al Jazeera reported that Ukraine attacked the aircraft including the A-50, which is a supersonic Tu-22M capable of dropping long-range bombs.

Moscow has not responded to the Ukrainian attack. Al Jazeera wrote, "Moscow has not commented on the damage to the planes, but it has confirmed that the airfields were hit by 'Ukrainian terrorist attacks.'

In the video released by the Ukrainian security agency, it appears that some Russian planes have been hit. The British media Guardian reported that videos obtained from various military airports across Russia showed burning planes and warplanes engulfed in flames, but the full details of the damage were not yet clear.

The international media reported that the Russian bomber plane, which is also used in ballistic and cruise missile launches, was damaged. According to CNN, Ukraine has hit 34 percent of the strategic cruise missile-carrying aircraft at Russia's main air base.

CNN has written, 'This attack has caused damage equal to about 7 billion US dollars.' CBS News wrote that this damage data could not be independently confirmed. Military analysts called Ukraine's latest drone strike the most significant attack from Kiev since the start of the war.

CBS News, quoting Ukrainian security sources, wrote that the attack under Operation 'The Spiderweb' took such damage and took the Ukrainian military more than a year and a half to complete, 'It was President  Volodymyr Zelensky himself watched firsthand .'  CBS News reported that 117 drones were used in the operation.

This attack happened while preparations were being made for the next round of talks to be held in Istanbul to find the possibility of a ceasefire. After almost 3 years of conflict, 'face to face' talks between Russia and Ukraine have started . Officials of Russia and Ukraine have already sat in a stage of peace talks in Istanbul, the capital of Turkey.
