More than 30 people have been killed in a series of attacks on three villages in the Gwer West region of Benue State, Nigeria, from Friday to Sunday.

At least 20 people died in Aondana village alone on Sunday and in other villages too  It is said that more than 10 people have died. According to the locals, children under the age of two are among the dead. Some of those who were killed in the incident were buried near the incident site and the neighboring villages were also attacked. The investigation into the

incident is said to be ongoing.
