Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav has expelled his eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for 6 years. Lalu Yadav informed about this through social network X.
He said that Tej Pratap will not play any role in the party and family from now on. "Disregarding moral values in private life undermines our collective struggle for social justice." The eldest son's activities, public behavior and irresponsible behavior are not according to our family values and traditions,' said Lalu. Mentioning that he was separated not only from the party but also from his family, he further wrote, 'Due to the above circumstances, I separate him from the party and family . From now on, he will have no role in the party and family. He will be expelled from the party for 6 years .'
Lalu also says that Tej Pratap himself is capable of deciding what is right and what is wrong in his private life. Earlier, the opposition parties criticized the RJD over Tej Pratap's post on social media.
Tej Pratap has been claiming that his Facebook account has been hacked. A post was made on his Facebook timeline claiming to be in a long-term relationship with a woman named Anushka Yadav. Now the post has been deleted. 37-year-old Tej Pratap, who is also a former minister of Bihar, married Aishwarya Rai, granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai, in 2018. But Aishwarya left the house saying that she was not treated well by her husband and family.
Lalu's other son Tejashwi is the president of RJD. He is the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and now the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
