Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that the Israeli army will take control of all the territory of the Gaza Strip.
In a public video message on Telegram, Netanyahu said the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) were making progress in the fight. "The fight is intense and we are making progress. We will take control of all areas of Gaza Strip," he said. "We will not give up. But to be successful, we have to act in a way that no one can stop.'
He says that Israel should not allow the population of Gaza to sink into famine 'for both practical and diplomatic reasons'. "To ensure our victory, defeat Hamas and free the hostages, we cannot reach the point of famine," Netanyahu said. He claims that Israel has no intention of creating a famine situation in Gaza.
