The US and Saudi Arabia have signed a defense agreement worth 1.42 billion dollars. According to the White House of the US President's Office, according to the agreement, Saudi Arabia will receive advanced war-fighting equipment and services from more than a dozen American defense firms.

The White House says that the agreement between the two countries during the visit of American President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia is the biggest defense agreement in history. The agreement was signed by President Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS). The

agreement includes the development of air force and space capabilities, air and missile defense, maritime and coastal security, border security and modernization of land forces and upgrading of information and communication systems. 

Similarly, the two countries have agreed on energy, mineral resources, infectious disease cooperation, etc., according to the BBC. During the signing of the agreement between the two countries, President Trump addressed Saudi Crown Prince MBS as a friend . 

The White House has also stated that Saudi Arabia is "committed to investing in America". Saudi Arabia has invested $20 billion in artificial intelligence data centers around the US. American technology firms have committed to invest 80 billion dollars in state-of-the-art transformative technology in both countries. 

Similarly, Saudi Arabia is going to export $14.2 billion worth of gas turbines and energy solutions and $4.8 billion worth of Boeing 737-8 passenger aircraft. 

In a telephone conversation after Trump took office on January 20, Saudi Crown Prince MBS promised to invest 6 trillion US dollars in America within four years. In 2017, Trump claimed that there was a contract worth more than 4 trillion 50 billion dollars, including 1 trillion 10 billion dollars of military equipment. It is said that Trump will bring in investments of up to 10 billion dollars from Saudi Arabia from this visit.

Trump told MBS that investments from Gulf countries would help create jobs in America. "I really believe we like each other very much," Trump told MBS. Trump's first visit to Saudi Arabia in 2017 was also remembered.

Trump believes that strengthening relations with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE will bring significant political and economic benefits. According to the White House, the UAE has committed to invest $14 billion in the US over 10 years.
