Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India will not tolerate any 'nuclear blackmail'. Addressing the nation on Monday evening, he said that since there was a terrorist attack against India, it would be answered.
Modi said during his speech, 'We will leave the answer in our own way on our own terms. We will reach the place where the terror started and take strict action.' On April 22, 26 tourists, including a Nepali, were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
After that, India launched Operation Sindoor, claiming it was a terrorist camp on Pakistani soil. On Monday, Indian Prime Minister Modi further said, 'India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. India will strike precisely and decisively at the bases of terrorists who are growing under the guise of nuclear blackmail.'
On Monday, American President Donald Trump has claimed that he has brought about a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He says that many lives were saved when the nuclear tension was stopped. He further said, 'We have stopped the nuclear tension. There could have been a nuclear war and millions of lives could have been lost.'
