A Russian airport closed after the Ukrainian drone attack has reopened. All four airports in the Russian capital Moscow were closed after Ukraine carried out drone attacks for the second night in a row. There were no human casualties in the attack.

According to Russian officials, the airport, which was closed due to the attack, has been operational since Tuesday morning. The Russian state media mentioned that 150 drones shot by Ukraine were shot down by the defense units of the Russian Air Force.

Among them, at least 19 Ukrainian drones were targeted at the Russian capital, according to the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin. Similarly, the BBC mentioned that other drones were targeted at Russian cities including Penza and Voronezh. Ukraine has not commented on the drone attack in Moscow yet.

A few days before the temporary ceasefire announced by Russia, Ukraine launched a drone attack. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a ceasefire in Ukraine from May 8 to May 11. On the occasion of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in 1945, Russia is holding a Victory Day parade on May 9 and various events.
