Israel's security cabinet has approved the plan to occupy Gaza. According to an Israeli official, the plan to expand its military offensive against Hamas has been approved.
According to that official, the plan also includes a proposal to occupy Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the cabinet has decided to launch a "forceful operation" to destroy Hamas and rescue the remaining hostages.
Netanyahu said that the 2.1 million population of Gaza will be relocated to save them. The cabinet has also approved in principle the plan to provide assistance by private companies.
With this, the blockade that has been going on for two months will end. The United Nations has said that the blockade has created a serious shortage of food in Gaza.
