The US military has claimed that more than 800 Houthi rebel areas in Yemen have been targeted. According to the US military, it has been conducting continuous air and military strikes against the Houthi rebels in Yemen since March 15.
The US Central Command said in a statement on Sunday that "hundreds of Houthi fighters and leaders have been killed". A large area of Yemen is under the control of the Houthis. Houthi said that at least 8 people, including women and children, were killed in the US attack on the capital Sana'a on Sunday.
At the beginning of this month, the Ministry of Health, run by the Houthis, said that at least 74 people were killed and 171 were injured in an American airstrike on the Red Sea coast.
US President Donald Trump last month ordered his troops to launch a large-scale attack on Houthi-controlled areas. He also threatened to erase the name of Houthi.
