India is currently in mourning due to the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Where 27 people have been killed, including one Nepali and one UAE national.
Meanwhile, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, Gautam Gambhir, has been threatened with death by ISIS. According to media reports, Gambhir received a death threat via email from Kashmir, according to news agency ANI. After the
threat, Gambhir contacted the police and demanded immediate investigation and action. Officials of Rajinder Police Station and DCP Central requested Gautam Gambhir to file a complaint against the threat. Then he registered the application.
The threatening email to him was sent on April 22. After the Pahalgam attack, Gambhir strongly condemned it. After that, he received a threatening message saying 'I will kill you' in the email.
After Gambhir's application, the police has started its investigation. The police said that the process of identifying the person who sent the email is ongoing and the email has also been tracked.
