After US President Donald Trump threatened to impose additional tariffs on China on Monday, China has also responded.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce called Trump's threat "another big mistake". The ministry has warned that it will not accept any kind of threats from the US and will fight the tariffs with all its might until the end. 

China's ruling Communist Party has also published an article in its newspaper People's Daily about this tariff war. In the above article, it is said that China's response is reasonable, legal, meaningful and restrained. The article accuses the US of showing its power to the world with the attitude of tariffs.
