As US President Donald Trump has told some of his close associates including cabinet members, billionaire Elon Musk is now leaving the government role soon. The American news portal "Politico" has published the news that Musk, who is an active partner of the Trump administration, an enthusiastic advocate and an aggressive spokesman for Washington, is going to withdraw from it.

This decision was made after a recent discussion between Trump and Musk, citing three reliable White House sources, Politico reported. Musk has been leading a government efficiency department called 'Dodge'. This department was established by Trump to cut federal spending for Elon.

Although President Trump is satisfied with the work of both Musk and Dodge, it is said that now Musk will return to his businesses and indirectly support the government . "Some internal and some external allies of the Trump administration are dissatisfied with Musk's unexpected behavior and his inability to clearly present his plans and dialogue to the Cabinet," ABC news said.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said that Musk will retire from public service as a special government employee after Dodge's  purpose is completed and work is completed. However, Levitt says that the news that he will withdraw from his government role within a week of his arrival is "absurd". However, she has made it clear that Musk will leave with the completion of Dodge's responsibility.

On Wednesday, the White House said that Musk will remain in office to complete the campaign to reduce government spending and tighten the number of federal employees. After the judge supported by Trump and Musk was defeated in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election on Tuesday for the appointment of a judge, the news that Musk will withdraw from the government role has come out.

After the news that Musk will return to the private sector, Reuters has mentioned that the share price of some companies that have received government contracts has increased. Shares of Musk's Tesla also rose by about 5 percent on Wednesday afternoon. In an interview with Fox News just last week, Musk insisted that he would complete his goal of cutting $1 trillion in federal spending within his 130-day tenure at Dodge.
