After the air strikes, Israel has now intensified ground attacks on Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health run by Hamas, more than 430 people have been killed in two days of fierce air strikes by Israel. High officials of Hamas are among those killed.

Israel attacked areas where Hamas has influence. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that its forces have reached the Netzarim Corridor.

A new attack on Gaza has indicated that the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which has been in force since January, will end. Earlier, the United Nations said that two people were killed and one of its staff was killed in an explosion in its compound in Deir al-Bala.

Similarly, on Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, issuing a video message, issued a final warning to the Palestinian territories and demanded the immediate release of their citizens who were held captive.

Israel says that 59 Israelis are still being held hostage by Hamas, of whom 24 may still be alive.
