34 people have been killed and many injured in the airstrikes launched by Israel in Gaza.

The Israeli army has said that it has launched a major attack targeting the terrorist areas of Hamas. Reuters quoted medics and eyewitnesses as saying that three houses were targeted in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, and physical structures were also targeted in Khan Younis and Rafah.

According to the Civil Defense Agency of Gaza, 34 Palestinians have been killed and more than 70 injured in the attack so far.

This is the biggest attack since the cease-fire that started on January 19. In a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the attack on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
