Strong storm in the US, at least 20 dead

At least 20 people have been killed in a powerful storm in South America. According to international media, 12 of the dead are from Missouri.

The storm has caused huge human and physical damage in the south-eastern state. Many vehicles have been involved in accidents and houses have also been completely destroyed. 

When a car crashed in Texas during the storm, three people were killed. Apart from this, human losses have also been reported in Oklahoma and Arkansas. According to

tracker Poweroutages, electricity has been disrupted in more than 240,000 homes in 6 states on Saturday afternoon. Which includes Texas, Missouri and Illinois . 

Severe weather warnings have been issued for central Mississippi, eastern Louisiana and western Tennessee. The National Weather Service has requested to be alert as flash floods may occur. 

Earlier Saturday morning, a high alert was issued for the storm in Central Mississippi.
