Ranjani Srinivasan, an Indian student studying at Columbia University in America, has left America.
She left America after participating in a demonstration held last year in support of Palestine on a university campus.
According to Indian media, Srinivasan left America after the university started taking action against the students participating in the demonstration.
Recently, the Trump administration stopped the 400 million dollar aid given to the university. The university has withheld aid saying it has failed to combat anti-Semitism.
In addition, the university has suspended many students and expelled some.
After the arrest of Mahmood Khalil, an activist on the campus of Columbia University, the university started taking action against other students as well.
Khalil is currently in the custody of the Federal Immigration Authority.
