Local authorities in Russia have claimed that there was a large-scale drone attack in Moscow at midnight. In which one person died and three others were injured.
Regional Governor Andrei Vorobyev said some people were injured in the towns of Vidnoye and Domodedozy outside the capital. International news agency BBC reported that seven apartments, including a government one, were damaged.
The mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyani, said that 73 drones that came towards the city were destroyed. One drone was damaged after falling on the roof of the building.
The train network in a district of Moscow has been shut down and flights to the airport have been banned after the attack.
This attack happened before talks between Ukraine and the US representatives in Saudi Arabia to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukraine has not responded to this attack.
