The US has issued an advisory regarding the travel of its citizens. In which US citizens are asked not to travel around India-Pakistan border and Line of Control.
According to the travel advisory, it is also said not to travel to Pakistan's Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to news agency PTI, the reason for issuing the advisory is considered to be terrorism and armed conflict in these areas. It is said in the
advisory, "Violent extremist groups are attacking Pakistan." Terrorist attacks are continuously happening in Baluchistan province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.' Which is called FATA i.e. Federally Administered Tribal Area. A large number of terrorist attacks are happening here. In which many have died. Small attacks keep happening here.
BBC reports that local military and police areas are not safe due to terrorism and violence by extremists. Terrorists and extremists are targeting markets, shopping malls, military installations, airports, tourist spots, schools, hospitals, religious places and government structures without warning.
