After a tumultuous six-week tenure in the White House, US President Donald Trump delivered an 'arrogant and partisan' speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night.

During the 100-minute long speech, Trump took a dig at former President Joe Biden and the opposition party, praised billionaire Elon Musk, discussed the letter of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, brought the Greenland Islands and the Panama Canal under American control, and claimed that the American dream will not stop.

Trump's longest speech in modern American history has been praised by Republicans. But the opposition Democratic Party has criticized Trump. Trump praised billionaire adviser Elon Musk early in the speech. Musk, who is sitting in the gallery listening to Trump's speech, heads the recently established Department of Government Efficiency (DoG). Dodge has already laid off tens of thousands of federal workers and frozen billions of dollars in foreign aid. "He is working very hard. He didn't need it," Trump said. After Trump praised, Musk stood up and thanked Trump by raising his hand.

Republicans laughed as Trump recited a list of jobs to be done under Musk's spending-cutting plan. But the Democrats shouted "lies" and "Ilan steals". Within five minutes of Trump's speech, AI Green, a lawmaker representing Texas, was escorted out of the parliament building by security personnel. He was kicked out of the hall after he did not obey the Speaker's order not to interrupt the President while he was speaking and to sit in his seat.

While Trump was speaking, the Democratic lawmakers shouted "this is a lie". Women MPs from the opposition Democratic Party wore pink suits for the demonstration. Some of them were wearing clothes with 'Resistance' written on them. After the opposition MPs left the hall during the speech, Trump said "I have nothing to say to please them".

Trump also talked about the 25 percent tariffs he imposed on Canada and Mexico on Tuesday and the additional 10 percent on China. Although his move could lead to a trade war, he did not seem serious about it. He says that his tax policy will make America great and rich again.

'Other countries have been imposing square taxes against us for decades. Now it's our turn. On average, have you heard of the European Union, China, Brazil, India, Mexico and Canada? They charge us high fees. It's very unfair," Trump said.

Trump said border security and immigration are a priority for his administration. Trump says he has the broadest border and immigration crackdown in American history. "The media and our friends in the Democratic Party said that we need a new law. But we needed a new president," said Trump.

Trump said that the US would control the Danish island of Greenland and the Panama Canal. "I have a message for the incredible people of Greenland," Trump said. "We strongly support your right to determine your own future, and we welcome you to America if you choose." Trump reiterated that Greenland is important to U.S. and international security.

"I think we're going to get it, one way or another," Trump said. We'll keep you safe. We will make you rich. Greenland has a very small population but is very important for military security.

Likewise, he said that thousands of Americans lost their lives during the construction of the Panama Canal and that the Panama Canal was necessary for the United States. "We have given the Panama Canal to Panama. Not to China," said Trump, claiming that the Chinese company had taken over the Panama Canal port.

Trump recalled the 13 American soldiers who were killed in a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport during their return from Afghanistan in 2021 and claimed that the return under the Biden administration was "disastrous and inappropriate". "It is probably the most shameful moment in the history of our country," he said.

He then said he was proud to announce the arrest of the top terrorist responsible for the bombings. "Those terrorists are now facing the sharp sword of American justice," Trump said, thanking the government of Pakistan for helping capture this monster. During the

speech, Trump said that the wildlife conservation center in Texas was named after a girl from Houston. Trump's wife Melania, the mother of the 12-year-old girl who was killed by an undocumented immigrant last year, attended the parliament building.  During the

speech, Trump made a surprising offer to appoint a 13-year-old boy as a Secret Service officer. JD Daniel, who has brain cancer, was announced to be sworn in as a member of the army by the new director of the 'Secret Service' and given a batch appointed to the 'Secret Service'.  At the end of the

speech, Trump said, "America's golden age has just begun." Addressing the joint session of Congress, Trump said that he will improve the standard of living of Americans. "We're going to build the highest quality of life, build safe, wealthy and healthy communities," he said, "we're going to conquer the vast frontiers of science and we're going to take humanity into space and plant the American flag on Mars and beyond."
