After US President Donald Trump imposed additional tariffs on Chinese goods, China responded. In exchange for the American tax, China has also countered by imposing a 10 to 15 percent tax on American agricultural products.
Also, China has declared that it is ready to fight any kind of war with the US. China has warned that it is ready to fight a tax war, trade war or any other kind of war if America wants war.
The Chinese embassy in the US reposted a line of the official statement on social media on Wednesday and gave such a warning. This is the strongest announcement from China since Trump became president for the second time.
This reaction came when the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party gathered in Beijing for the annual National People's Congress. Only on Wednesday, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang announced that his country's defense spending would increase by 7.2 percent.
