The two sessions of the Chinese Communist Party, which are considered to be important events in Chinese political life, have started from Tuesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The third session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, began on Tuesday and the third session of the 14th National People's Congress began on Wednesday.
Under the Convention, CPPCC which started from 3rd March will continue till 10th . More than 2,100 members from 34 sectors, including economic, cultural, educational and environmental resources, are gathering and presenting opinions and suggestions on advancing the task of Chinese-style modernization goals. They have a tradition of managing, hearing and discussing reports and proposals. The members of CPPCC also participated in the session of the People's Congress which started from Wednesday and discussed important documents including the government work report.
During the annual conference, in the past year, the representatives of the consultative committee focused their efforts on the modernization campaign and presented suggestions on state affairs, said Liu Chyeyi, spokesperson of the third session of the CPPCC . He said, "The representatives have visited villages, factories and communities, and brought grassroots ideas and suggestions to the decision-making process of the party and government."
During the two sessions, various diplomats for China in Beijing will be invited to the opening and closing meetings . Nepali Ambassador to China Krishna Prasad Oli has participated in the government work report meeting for the first time. Ambassador Oli said that this year is the last year of China's 14th five-year plan and it is an important year for China to accelerate transformation and upgrading and promote high-quality development.

The third session of the 14th National Committee of the National People's Congress has started from Wednesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Premier Li Qiang presented the government work report at the opening ceremony, which was attended by top leaders including President Xi Jinping.
According to the government work report, China has achieved success in reform and openness by solidly and effectively implementing the reform measures of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Institutional reforms have been fully completed and major reforms such as building a unified national market and gradually delaying the statutory retirement age have been initiated. All restrictions on foreign investment access in the manufacturing sector have been removed, while trade and investment cooperation in the joint construction of the Belt and Road has been continuously expanded and upgraded.
