Britain and France will discuss Ukraine with Trump

Britain and France are going to discuss with US President Donald Trump to establish peace in war-torn Ukraine. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says that Britain and France will prepare a peace plan to stop the war in Ukraine and discuss it with Trump.

According to Starmer, after discussions with Ukrainian President Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron, it was agreed to work to stop the war. Starmer says that one or two other countries can be added to it. "Britain, France and possibly one or two other countries will work on a plan to stop fighting with Ukraine." And, then we will discuss that plan with America.'

Ukraine has suffered three years of bloody conflict and Starmer says that everyone should find a way to work together. "Now we have to reach lasting peace." "I think we've taken a step in the right direction," Starmer told the BBC.

Earlier, the UK has agreed to help Ukraine with 2 billion 260 million pounds . An aid agreement was signed between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Starmer, who came to the UK after a heated argument with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance regarding the mineral deal. During the deal, Starmer said that Britain always stands by Ukraine . 

European leaders have met in London, led by Britain and France, about the Ukraine war. In the meeting, along with Keir Starmer, Macron, Zelensky, the President of the European Commission, Ursula van der Leyen, the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and other heads of state and government of various countries are present. 

Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Romanian Acting President Elie Bolojan, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoff, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristerson, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Storr, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Chief Mark Rutte and other participants are reported by the BBC.  Before the

conference, Italian Prime Minister Meloni said that all European leaders are committed to the same goal and want a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. I think we in the West should avoid the risk of division. For this, Britain and Italy can play an important role, Meloni said.
