Commenting on Pakistan as a 'failed country' in the United Nations Human Rights Council, India has now said that it is only relying on international support.

In the meeting of the 50th session of the Council, Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi has accused the Pakistani leadership of spreading propaganda on behalf of the army.

Tyagi made this comment after Pakistan's Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar alleged that human rights were being violated in Jammu and Kashmir.

Tyagi said, 'It is very sad that Pakistan is continuously spreading lies about Kashmir and India. The representatives there are making fun of a platform like OIC. Pakistan is using the OIC as its mouthpiece and is misusing it.

Tyagi said that the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have always been an integral part of India and will continue to be so. He said, "There has been unprecedented political, social and economic progress in Jammu and Kashmir for the last few years."
