A mineral and reconstruction agreement between the US and Ukraine has been agreed upon. With the agreement between the two countries, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is going to visit America.

US President Donald Trump has said that Ukrainian President Zelensky is ready to sign the agreement. For that, Trump says that Zelensky will come to the White House this week. 'I heard that the Ukrainian president will come on Friday,' Trump told reporters in the Oval Office, 'Of course, that's fine with me if he wants to.' I understand, this is a big thing, a very big thing.'

For a few days, the two countries were talking about the ownership of Ukrainian minerals. 'We have actually agreed to it with some good modifications. We have seen this as a positive result," a senior Ukrainian official told the BBC.

The United States previously claimed rights to Ukrainian 'rare earth metal' worth 5 billion US dollars as well as natural resources including oil and gas. But the United States has retreated somewhat, according to the Financial Times. But according to the BBC, the agreement did not ensure any guarantee about the security of Ukraine, which was previously held by Zelensky in the agreement.
