A proposal to remove Russia from Ukrainian territory has been approved by the United Nations.

There were 93 votes in favor and 18 votes against this proposal put forward on Monday. 65 countries did not participate in the voting. 

The US has voted against Ukraine for the first time since the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Major European countries like Germany, UK and France are among those who support the proposal.  Since

, Russia, America, Israel and Hungary have voted against this proposal. This proposal was made on the third anniversary of the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war. 

India and China did not participate in this resolution at the United Nations.
