Donald Trump, who was elected in the US presidential election on November 5, has taken the oath of office and secrecy. Trump was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts in a special ceremony held in the Rotunda building of the US Capitol Hill in the capital, Washington DC.

Trump officially became the 47th President of the United States after reciting the phrase, "I solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and to the best of my ability to protect, defend, and defend the Constitution of the United States." Previously, Trump was the President of the United States from 2017 to 2021.

JD Vance was sworn in as the 50th Vice President of the United States along with Trump in a ceremony held at 12:00 PM local time on Monday (10:45 PM on Monday Nepali time). He was sworn in by Judge Brett Cavanaugh.

Usually, the swearing-in ceremony is held outside the Capitol, but this time it was held inside the building due to extreme cold. Previously, in 1985, Ronald Reagan's swearing-in ceremony was held inside Capitol Hill. Trump became the 47th president of the United States

Trump says that the historic executive orders issued by him will be the beginning of the complete restoration and revolution of America. "My message to Americans today is that the time has come for us to act once again with the courage, the vigor and the vitality of the greatest civilization in history," Trump said.

Trump strongly criticized the Biden administration for not being able to address the immigration crisis in his speech.
