Luigi Manzoni has been charged with the murder of Brian Thompson, CEO of United Health Care in New York. Manzoni was arrested Monday at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

According to New York prosecutors, Manzoni, 26, is charged with Thompson's murder as well as possession of an illegal weapon and forged documents. 

Thompson was murdered outside an investors' conference in midtown Manhattan. After the murder, New York police studied video footage from various locations looking for evidence.

Five days after the incident, police arrested Manzoni after being tipped off by an employee of McDonald's in Altoona, about 230 miles from the hotel where the murder took place.
