Ten people were killed and 30 others were injured in a Russian attack on a site with furniture in northwestern Syria.

According to the War Monitoring Organization, 10 people including a child died in the attack.

Similarly, 30 people, including 14 children, were injured, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Russia hit "a sawmill, furniture and an olive press" on the outskirts of Idlib city. The Syrian Civil Defense Force said that its teams are removing the bodies of people killed in the Russian attack from the rubble.

According to the Civil Defense Force, Wednesday's attack "targeted furniture while the workers were inside, killing ten civilians and seriously injuring 32 others." The Russian army, which is cooperating with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, has not commented on the bombing in Idlib.

The al-Qaeda group has control over half of Idlib province and other areas. After the attack of the Syrian government in March 2020, a ceasefire was announced in this area with the mediation of Russia and Turkey.
