WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been released from British prison after 5 years. International media reported that Assange was released from a British prison after reaching a deal with US authorities. The BBC reported that Assange left the UK for Australia after his release from prison.

According to the agreement with the US, Assange, an Australian citizen, must appear in the US court and confess the crime against him. Assange appeared in a court in the Northern Mariana Islands in the Pacific Ocean and agreed to plead guilty, according to BBC news. Assange has been accused of illegally obtaining and leaking highly classified US national security information.
