Ujjaya Nepal Party (UNEPA) Chairman Kulman Ghising has claimed that he suffered a lot in the process of unification with the National Independent Party.

Speaking on Kantipur's podcast series 'Beyond the Headlines', he claimed that he would now embark on a campaign to make Uyepa the number one party in the country.

Ghising, who left the unity with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and returned to the Uyghal Nepal Party on the 12th day, claimed that the situation after Poush 14 was the most painful moment of his life. 'Even when I was a minister, I had gone to every room and house to talk about unity. I have gone to the place where they invited me. I have not invited them to my house,' he said, 'There is neither room to move forward nor room to retreat. The party that had great public sympathy has almost gone into a coma.'

Ghising also said that he was humiliated after the unity. He added that he would start a campaign to make Uyghal Nepal the number one party in the country, 'Now there will be no merger or party unity with anyone. There will be a functional unity, that is a different matter.'

He said that he would not blame anyone too much now and would only wish them well. He said that a new power should be established and politics should be done by maintaining morality and earning trust, and that politics should not be done by embarrassing others.

‘I left in 12 days. But may their cooperation be long. I wish Balen Shah even better,’ he said, ‘What the people want is their unity.’

When asked how the offer to become a minister came after Bhadra 24, he claimed that he had been called to the army headquarters at 1 am and that Prime Minister Sushila Karki had proposed to become a minister. He said that although he had received information that discussions had been held about the proposal from some places, including Zen-G, the proposal came from Prime Minister Karki.
