The victims of the armed conflict are protesting that the government is going to recruit the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Investigation Commission of Disappeared Persons on the basis of party divisions. On Sunday, the victims of the armed conflict came to surround the Human Rights Commission, saying that the government has moved forward without taking them into confidence, for whom justice is needed.

Devi Khadka, the founder of Aparajit Foundation, an organization formed by Maoist leaders and women victims of sexual violence during the conflict, comments that the top leaders of the three parties have played with the rights of citizens to get justice. In a video conversation with

Kantipur, she said that justice has been tampered with by recruiting her workers to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Investigation Commission of Disappeared Persons, the mechanism for deciding transitional justice.

'The three leaders were supposed to divide and send their workers to the commission, so why did they have to create a drama of forming a committee twice?', she said, 'The members of the committee are also doing what the leaders said after getting assurances that they will be appointed to different places later, this is the sale of justice, these leaders will feel guilty.' The recommendation committee of Ptak has recommended the names of officials in both commissions on Sunday, as stated by the parties. Devi has also objected to this saying that the committee did not even consult with the victims and when they were interested, they reprimanded them.

'Who are they going to work for by dressing up the victims ?' Devi asked, 'If this is the case, we will form a parallel commission.' And Devi has explained in detail in a video conversation with Kantipur how it is playing games with the victims' expectations of justice. Watch the full
