Singer Daisy Barailly has arrived from Darjeeling for a musical evening to be organized in Kathmandu. Along with her, her husband, musician Chandan Lamjel and daughter singer Vimochna Lamjel also arrived in Kathmandu.
Daisy, who came to Kathmandu for the first time in 1975, was able to fill the voice of Kamal Darnal. This was the first song recorded by Radio Nepal - 'Bhaisi Ladyo Hai Maya Bhirbat Her'! This song made him famous overnight. Also, at Kharsang Studio in Darjeeling, she had already recorded a song with the lyrics of Jas Yonjan 'Pyasi' and the music of Badri Durga Kharel with the lyrics 'Jhajhalkoma sahte malai kehe pei'.
