The company plans to launch the bag, designed in collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Izzy Miyaki, on Friday. It is said to have been specially designed according to Miyaki's 'one piece of clothing' principle.
Apple has stated that the bag will hold AirPods, lip balm and keys along with the iPhone. Apple also claims that the bag is designed in Miyaki's well-known fashion style. "At first glance, you might not even know what this thing is," Miyaki said, "This bag is designed to give you the experience of carrying or carrying your iPhone in your own style."
Some have criticized Apple for trying to sell a bag at a price that can be bought with a decent smartphone. Technology YouTuber Marques Brownlee responded that "this latest product will test Apple's understanding that users will buy whatever the company sells."
This bag is available in two designs. One is in a handheld design, which costs $150, or about Rs. 21,000. The second, a wearable design, is said to cost about $230, or Rs. 32,000, according to the company.
