Prime Minister Sushila Karki has started running a new account on social media. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister and Cabinet Office, she has started running a new account on Facebook, X (old Twitter) and Instagram.

The previous prime minister was using a Facebook and X account called 'PMO Nepal'. But Prime Minister Karki has launched her own separate account. Questions are also being raised on social media about this issue.
According to Subas Dhakal, Joint Secretary of the Information Technology Division of the Prime Minister's Office, the Prime Minister's Secretariat has decided to use the social network. A new 'account' has been launched .
He said to Kantipur- 'It was decided to open a new account from the Secretariat of the Honorable Prime Minister. So a new account has been launched. We also have the old ID .'
