Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) has formed a cyber security committee. The statement said that the committee was established with the aim of helping to make the digital sector of Nepal safe, strong and ready for the future.
Cyber security experts and representatives of NAS-IT member companies are involved in the committee. Its main goal is to improve the situation of cyber security in Nepal. This committee, operating under the NAS-IT Board, is said to lead important activities within the private sector and the technical community.
The Cyber Security Committee's main objectives include supporting the development of clear and effective cyber security regulations and laws, as well as improving collaboration between private companies, government agencies and universities. The
committee will be headed by Vijay Limbu Senihang from Bhairav Technologies Security. Among the members are Ghanshyam Oli from Biz Serve IT, Prajjwal Gautam from Eminence Ways, Roshan Pokharel from Logpoint and Munna Shrestha from Janes Solutions . It has been informed that Abhay Poudel of Gokyo Labs, Deepan Chapagain of Logpoint and Narayan Koirala of Eminence Ways are involved in the advisory from NAS-IT board of directors.
