Nepali Congress MP Rajendra Bajgai has commented that the government seems indifferent to the American technology company Starlink's desire to expand its services in Nepal. Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, he accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of not ending the talks with SpaceX chief Elon Musk.

MP Bajgai claimed that he personally communicated with the representative of Space X and took the initiative to bring Starlink to Nepal. "I advocated a lot for Starlink," he said. But then we couldn't acknowledge or address it and we didn't send or acknowledge the conversation with Elon Musk.'

He said that while Starlink is being militarized in Nepal and spreading rumors, the neighboring countries have accepted it. Mentioning that technology like Starlink should be linked with education  He expressed dissatisfaction that there was no discussion about this in the policy and program.

Also, MP Bajgai mentioned that he made personal efforts to bring international rich and investors into Nepal and was ignored by the government level. He said that the American technology company Microsoft should be allowed to open a "shelter" on a hill in Laprak, Gorkha. "We proposed a long time ago to let Microsoft open a shelter on the hill of Laprak," he said.
