The SRC Plus Two Inter-College Basketball Tournament, organized by Pulchokians Fitness Hub and coordinated by Insight Sports Nepal, is set to begin on Sunday.
Former president of the organizing hub and Consular Khursang Chhiring Dong informed at a press conference on Saturday that 10 boys' teams will participate in the tournament.
Group 'A' includes Laligurans National Academy, Pushpasadan, GoldenGate 'A', Omega, and CCRC, while Group 'B' consists of GoldenGate 'B', KVBC, TIB, Manaslu, and Premier. The games will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis.
The winner will receive a prize of 50,000 rupees, the runner-up 25,000 rupees, and the third-place team 15,000 rupees. Awards will also be given for Man of the Match, Most Valuable Player, Best Defensive and Offensive Player, and the Most Disciplined Team. The total prize pool is 145,000 rupees.
The week-long tournament games will be played at the covered hall in Kirtipur.
