In the sixth Triyog Inter-School Chess Tournament, KMC’s Vianka Gautam has reached the final round in the senior girls’ category with a perfect score in the selection phase.
In the girls’ grade 8 to 10 group, Niten Memorial and Manakamana School were impressive. Three players from each school succeeded in making it to the final 20. In the boys’ category, Pathshala’s Oscar Pant achieved a perfect winning record. In the girls’ grade 6 and 7 group, Future Star School’s Glossy Shrestha achieved perfect success. In this competition, Triyog had the highest number of players—three—advance to the final round. In the boys’ category, Pushpasadan’s Hardik Pant achieved perfect success.
The tournament, which includes eight events, has participation from more than 600 players. The final round of all eight groups will be held on Friday in the tournament organized by Triyog High School.
