In another quarterfinal, Gaurishankar Rural Municipality beat Dhulikhel Municipality in straight sets, 3–0. Gaurishankar posted scores of 25–21, 25–22, 25–21.
In the third quarterfinal, Bethanchowk Rural Municipality defeated Tarkeshwor Municipality 3–1 to reach the final four. After losing the first set 27–25, Bethanchowk made a comeback by winning the next three sets 25–23, 25–23, 25–23.
In the fourth quarterfinal, Lalitpur Metropolitan City beat Mahankal Rural Municipality in straight sets, 3–0, to secure a semifinal berth.
Now, in the women's category, Lalitpur Metropolitan City will face Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the first semifinal on Friday, while Gaurishankar Rural Municipality will take on Bethanchowk Rural Municipality in the second semifinal. The match for third place will also be held on Friday.
In the ongoing tournament organized by Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center with support from Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Lalitpur Metropolitan City defeated Madi Municipality 25–20, 25–19, 25–19 in the first men's semifinal.
In the other semifinal, Mahankal Rural Municipality beat Melung Rural Municipality 3–1 to secure a place in the title clash.
Now, for the men's title, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Mahankal Rural Municipality will face each other on Saturday. The losing semifinalists, Madi Municipality and Melung Rural Municipality, will compete for third place on Friday.
The winner will receive a prize of 200,000 rupees, the runner-up will get 100,000 rupees, and the third-place team will receive 50,000 rupees. In the individual categories, the best player will receive 10,000 rupees, while the best spiker, blocker, setter, and libero will each be awarded 5,000 rupees, according to the organizers.
