The Nepali women's kabaddi team has left for Bhadrapur, Jhapa, on Tuesday to prepare for the 5-match series between Nepal and Bangladesh. The series will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from July 17 to 23.

The players include Menuka Rajbanshi (captain), Asma Yadav, Sirjana Kumari Tharu, Nisha Bohara, Ganga Ghimire, Nanumaya Parajuli, Manisha Joshi, Binita Pandit Chhetri, Sushmi Rai, Radhika Khadayat, Urusha Shakya, Nirmala Bhatta, Sangeeta Tamang and Pushpa Chaudhary.

The team will remain in closed training in Bhadrapur until July 30. The team will leave for Dhaka from Bhadrapur on July 31. The coach is Harina Thapa, the assistant coach is Bandhu Rana, the team manager is Krishnadev Pant, the officials are Parashuram Jha, Tarun Kumar Yadav, Ganesh Dutt Bhatta, Jayaprakash Rajbanshi and Prakash Prasad Shah.

Kabaddi Association General Secretary Arvind Kumar Jha said that most of the 'B' team players have been included with the aim of giving opportunities to other players as well.
