The interim order issued on Friday said that the interim order should be issued as per the petitioner's demand. The interim order has been asked to take an appropriate decision in a timely manner, keeping in mind the best interests of the petitioner. An order has been issued to take an appropriate decision by coordinating between the National Sports Council, Nepal Swimming Association and Nepal Olympic Committee.
The interim order states that there is a dispute regarding the legal existence of the Nepal Swimming Association. The order states that the legal validity of the Nepal Swimming Association, the legal validity of the correspondence sent by the National Sports Council, etc. raised by the petitioner will be considered when making a final decision.
Senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi, advocate Bheshraj Pokharel, Ashish Poudel and Rajeshwor Shrestha argued on behalf of the petitioner. Senior advocate Lokbhakta Rana, who was made the opposing party, said that the Nepal Olympic Committee does not recognize the Nepal Swimming Association led by Jagatman Shrestha.
A writ petition was filed on 28 Jestha alleging that the Nepal Swimming Association, headed by Jagatman Shrestha, had rigged the selection of players for the 20th Asian Games to be held in Japan by making a pre-planned plan and playing with the future of the players.
