Nepal has won 1-1 silver and a bronze in the ongoing competition in Thimphu, Bhutan, according to Dinesh Kumar Rajbhandari, Secretary of the Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.

Akash Shrestha won gold for Nepal in the men's sports physique under 170 cm. Sita Khatri won silver in the women's athletic physique. Pukar Shakya won bronze in the men's sports physique over 170 cm. This is the 'debut' of all three athletes in an international competition.

With this medal, Nepal's medal tally in the history of South Asian Bodybuilding has reached 13 gold, 17 silver and 20 bronze. Nepal has been participating regularly since the first edition. The previous 3 editions were held in Nepal.
