The Koshi Pride League (KPL) cricket, which has been postponed three times for various reasons, is finally set to start from Friday. Six teams, including three from India, will compete in the third edition of the tournament to be held at the Dr. Khalil Azad Sports Ground in Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-4, Sunsari.
The KPL Group gave information about the international invitational cricket tournament to be organized through a press conference held on Thursday. According to the organizers, Itahari Kings, Mills Cricket and Academy Biratnagar and Chinnamasta Cricket Club Saptari will participate from Nepal.
RML Sports Academy Delhi, HPCA Sports Club Patna and KCC Cricket Club Birpur will take to the field from India. There will be a total of 19 matches in the tournament, which will be inaugurated on Friday, and the final match will be held on Ashar 23.
The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 251,000 along with a trophy.
