In the Banke District Level Mayor's Cup Inter-School U-18 Football Tournament, the boys' team of Holyland and the girls' team of Nepalgunj Model Academy have emerged champions.

On the boys' side, Holyland defeated Nepalgunj Model Academy in a sudden death. Both teams scored 1-1 in the stipulated time. 

In the 24th minute, Holyland took the lead through Anmol Bik's goal. In the 47th minute, Sunil Tharu scored a goal to bring Nepalgunj Model back into the game. After that, the game went to a tiebreaker as neither team could score a goal. Holyland was successful in that.

In the penalty shootout, Abhishek Thapa, Ashish Kumai, Manish Sunar, Daniel Rokamagar, and Anmol Bik scored from Holyland. Himal Puri's shot was saved by goalkeeper Ayush Chand.

Mahesh Shahi, Ayush Chand, Raj Nepali and Sunil Tharu scored goals for Nepalgunj Model, while Pushkar Malla and Niranjan Shahi failed to score.

Holyland goalkeeper Praveen Sunar was named Player of the Match in the final.  

Nepalgunj Model Academy defeated Manakamana School 3-0 in the girls' division. Model's Jyoti Kandel scored in the 7th and 36th minutes and Binita Chaudhary scored in the 21st minute. Nepalgunj Model's Jyoti Kandel was named Player of the Match in the final.

Holyland's Abhishek Thapa was named the best player for the boys' division and Nepalgunj Model's Bhavana Khadka was named the best player for the girls' division. In the category, the best student award went to goalkeeper Praveen Sunar of Holyland, defender Sunil Tharu of Nepalgunj Model, midfielder Ganesh Singh Thakuri of Nepalgunj Model, striker Anmol Bik of Holyland, and best coach award went to Jang Bahadur Thapa of Holyland.

The best goalkeeper award went to Priyanka Bik of Manakamana School, defender, midfielder, and striker awards went to Sheetal Rokaya, Savita Chaudhary, and Jyoti Kandel of Nepalgunj Model, and best coach award went to Narendra Shah.

The winner of the competition organized by the Banke District Football Association with the support of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City received Rs 31,000 and the runner-up received Rs 16,000.
