Colombia booked their place in the knockout stages of the 2026 World Cup on Wednesday with a 1-0 win over DR Congo in Group K. Daniel Munoz scored the only goal of the match at the Estadio Guadalajara.
Munoz converted a pass from the Congolese penalty area in the 76th minute. Colombia have six points after their second consecutive win and remain top of the group. Portugal are second with four points.
Congo are third with one point. Uzbekistan are bottom with zero points and their challenge is over. Colombia will now face Portugal to decide the group winner. Congo and Uzbekistan will face each other in the next match.
