Vijay won the men's and Erika won the NOC awards for women. Erika won this award for the second time. Karate's Kushal Shrestha won the men's coach award. He also won this award along with Erika.
Kabaddi's Harina Thapa won the NOC award for women's coach. The previous time, Kabaddi's Parbati Thapa won this award.
The NOC Best Young Player award was won by boxing's Nurbu Dhendup Sherpa and tennis' Shivali Gurung.
The NOC Best Sports Journalist (Print) award was presented to Khiladi.com's editor Ajay Phuyal. Hamro Khiladi's senior correspondent Sarita Shrestha received the NOC Best Online Sports Journalist award. Sudarshan Ranjit of Pokhara was awarded the NOC Best Cameraperson award.
Nepal Karate Federation was selected as the best association. The winners of each category were awarded 50 thousand, Nepali carpet with trophy. It is said that the carpet was provided by New Horizon Carpet.
Ashok Ratna Bajracharya, Geeta Rana, Chaturananda Rajvadiya, Nepal Former Players Forum Pokhara, Sharad Chandra Shah Memorial Foundation, Thunderbolt Sports Academy (James School), former member secretary of Bagmati Province Sports Council Suryalal Bhandari and cyclist Laxmi Shrestha were honored with the NOC Presidential Award.
The honorees were presented with awards by NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha and others.
President Shrestha said that NOC has been organizing an award program every year on June 23 to celebrate Olympic Day. This is the fourth time that NOC has organized this award. NOC General Secretary Rajiv Shrestha and Award Program Coordinator Gopal Sundarlal Kakshapati spoke about the award.
